Roof Truss Services — Design, Manufacture & Installation

Pretoria & Gauteng's complete roof truss service — structural design, precision manufacturing, site delivery and professional installation under one roof.

Service 01

Design & Engineering

Every successful roof starts with an accurate design. Our Senior Structural Designer, Desmond Govender, uses MiTek's industry-leading software to produce SANS-compliant structural drawings tailored to your specific project requirements.

Whether you're a contractor working from approved building plans or a homeowner starting from scratch, we translate your requirements into precise truss specifications that leave nothing to interpretation on site.

Our design package includes a full truss layout plan, individual member drawings, engineering calculations to SANS 10160 (structural loads) and SANS 10243 (timber structures), and a numbered cut-list for the factory floor. Standard residential designs are typically completed within 24–48 hours. Drawings can be submitted to your local municipality where required for building plan approval.

  • SANS-compliant structural design
  • MiTek engineering software
  • Fast turnaround on quotes and drawings
  • Residential and commercial projects

Manufacturing

Our Pretoria Industrial factory is equipped with MiTek gang-nail plate technology — the same system used by the world's leading truss fabricators. Every truss is cut to exact specification and assembled under a rigorous quality control process.

As an ITC SA Category A Fabricator Member (COC/849/MIT), our manufacturing processes are independently audited to ensure consistent compliance with South African timber construction standards.

We use graded South African Pine (SAP) treated to SABS 1702 specification — H2 treatment for internal dry-service conditions and H3 for exposed or moist environments. Timber members are moisture-content tested before cutting. Each piece is CNC-cut to ±0.5 mm accuracy before gang-nail plate pressing. Typical production lead time is 5–8 working days from design approval.

  • MiTek gang-nail plate technology
  • ITC SA audited production facility
  • Quality-controlled from timber to finished truss
  • Residential, commercial and industrial capacity

Delivery

Construction delays cost money. We co-ordinate our production schedule around your site requirements to ensure trusses arrive exactly when your team is ready to erect them.

We serve contractors and homeowners across Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand, and greater Gauteng. Our logistics team keeps you informed from dispatch to delivery.

Trusses are delivered pre-numbered according to the erection layout plan so your team can place them immediately without sorting on site. We confirm site-access requirements and delivery windows with your foreman at least 24 hours in advance. Our crane and flatbed trucks can reach most residential and commercial sites across Gauteng.

  • On-schedule delivery to site
  • Gauteng-wide coverage
  • Coordinated with your construction schedule
  • Direct communication from dispatch to site

Installation

The final step — and often the most critical. Our experienced installation teams erect your trusses safely, correctly and to the approved structural specification.

Having the same company design, manufacture and install your trusses eliminates the information gaps that cause costly site errors. You get a single point of accountability from drawing to structure.

Our teams operate under full OHSA (Occupational Health and Safety Act) working-at-heights compliance. Temporary bracing remains in place until all permanent bracing specified in the structural drawings is fixed. A job completion card is handed to the client confirming that the installation matches the approved design specification.

  • Experienced installation teams
  • Erected to structural specification
  • Single point of accountability
  • Site safety compliant

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our roof truss design, manufacturing and installation services.

What roof truss services does Isocraft Truss offer?

Isocraft Truss offers a complete roof truss service under one roof: structural design using MiTek engineering software, precision manufacture of timber and lightweight steel trusses, scheduled delivery to site across Gauteng, and professional installation by our experienced teams. Having one company manage the full process eliminates the coordination gaps and information errors that cause costly delays on site.

Do you design custom roof trusses for unusual spans or pitches?

Yes. Isocraft Truss provides fully custom structural designs for any span, pitch or roof shape. Our senior structural designer uses MiTek design software to produce SANS-compliant certified drawings for residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout South Africa. We regularly design non-standard configurations including scissor trusses, raised-heel trusses, attic trusses and complex hip roofs for both new builds and renovation projects.

What areas do you deliver roof trusses to?

Isocraft Truss delivers manufactured roof trusses to Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand, Johannesburg, Soweto, East Rand (Boksburg, Benoni, Kempton Park), West Rand (Roodepoort), and all surrounding areas across Gauteng Province. We also service outlying areas including Vanderbijlpark, Meyerton, Nigel, North West Province, Limpopo and Mpumalanga — contact us to confirm your delivery address and lead time.

Do you manufacture lightweight steel roof trusses?

Yes. In addition to timber trusses, Isocraft Truss manufactures lightweight steel (light gauge steel) roof trusses for commercial, industrial and large-span residential projects where greater strength, longer clear spans or reduced timber volumes are required. Light gauge steel trusses are particularly suited to spans exceeding 16m and to coastal or high-humidity environments where steel outperforms timber.
